Service Branch Manager

The Service Branch Manager reports to the Director National Accounts.  Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the retail service offerings nationwide to consistently meet and exceed customer needs. Responsible for quality and timeliness of service work, costs, and compliance with state regulations.  Responsible for total branch operations and full P+L.  Responsibilities also include training and developing of all personnel.

 

Responsibilities:

 



· Manages service activities of a full range of electronic security systems nationwide.  Responsible for cost and quality control of all service activities.

·Maintains timely communications and harmonious relationships among customers, sub-contractors, project coordinators to coordinate timely completion and minimize costs and delays.

· Assures that all completed jobs meet customer requirements in accordance with job specifications and local codes.

· Develops and implements a quality service program to improve customer satisfaction.

· Establishes goals for department personnel; updates and monitors them on a regular basis.

· Keeps currently informed on company products and policies; disseminates appropriate information in a timely manner to department personnel.

· Utilizes available management financial reports to monitor and control (in accordance with approved profit plan) performance in the following categories: direct job costs, operating expenses, indirect job costs, and warranty expenses.

· Establishes goals for department personnel; updates and monitors them on a regular basis.

· Directs all training programs, technical training, and developmental programs for department personnel.

· Responsible for finding growth opportunities and increased revenue by determining solutions for existing and new clients and existing and available products.

 

Knowledge:

 Minimum of five years progressively responsible experience leading a regional or national service organization.Experience in leading a multiple site regional or national service organization.Strong understanding of technical services, managed services, customer services and outsourced service networks.Experience in financial management. P&L management experience required.An understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these to cost containment in managing projects.  Strong understanding of compliance
