Senior Test Technician

Interested applicants will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to Manufacturing; carry out advanced testing and troubleshooting of product; maintain technical records; construct test stations.

 

Responsibilities/Tasks:

· Perform advanced troubleshooting to the component level

· Train other technicians

· Work any shift as required to meet shipping demand

· Perform tasks as required to support detailed failure analysis

· Gather necessary data in support of First Pass Yield analysis

· Provide technical support to engineers

· Maintain technical records

· Carry out preventive maintenance on machines and equipment

· Promote the concept of individual responsibility for product quality

· Work closely with other department personal

· Maintain good attendance record

·  Develop a positive track record

 

Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:

· BSEET or ASEET with 4-6 years related experience

· 6+ years of Technician experience

· Familiar with electronic contract manufacturing processes

· Understanding of industry standards

· Experience in analog and digital circuits.

· Experience in down-hole tools and rugged PCB’s a plus

· Advanced ability to read and interpret manuals, prints, and specifications

· Familiar with equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, function generator, etc.

· Strong Computer skills, knowledge of MRP systems helpful, MS Excel and Word
