Peruse more careers > Senior RFIC Design Engineer Description: Freescale’s Cellular Products Group helps you speed your wireless products to market by providing the platforms, products, and system know-how (with 50 years with wireless leadership) that you need to succeed in today's mobile world.In this role you will design major blocks (mixers, variable gain stages, RF buffers, RF power blocks, RF switches, LO drivers and quadrature generators, baseband filters) of RF transceivers in RF CMOS to critical specs and minimum area and current drain. Direct experience in RF design with sub 180nm CMOS technology required. Knowledge of cellular communications standards, low power data converters, communications DSP, and wireless transceiver programming desirable. May lead small (2-10) design teams5+ years of industry experience in the following required; RF CMOS design, CMOS process technology, RF simulation tools (harmonic balance and time domain), verification tools (physical and simulation).
