Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Â·  Perform professional mechanical engineering research, design, development, modification, and evaluation in support of the company’s complex semiconductor capital equipment and systems and their mechanical components.·  Determine design approach and parameters.·  Propose, review and evaluate designs·  Generate and/or direct layout/design activities and verify accuracy of final documentation.·  Analyze and select components and equipment, as well as evaluates suppliers capabilities. ·  Design and conduct independent experiments or tests.·  Define problems and objectives; develop implementation of required changes and modifications. ·  Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.·  Utilize the technical expertise you are recognized for industry wide project issues across the company.     Qualifications Â·  12+ years applicable experience required, as well as an advanced knowledge of a particular aspect of design work.·  BA/BS in related discipline or equivalent required.·  Previous experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry preferred.·  Previous project management experience required.·  Professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills.·  Must be able to communicate with all levels of management.·  Organizational and problem solving skills.  Salary & Benefits   Â·  Competitive compensation package.·  Excellent medical, vision, and dental plans begin on your date of hire.·  401(k) with company matching component.·  Tuition reimbursement program as well as on-site training courses.·  Paid vacation, holidays and sabbatical.·  Life Insurance and much, much more!
