Senior Electrical Engineer

1.  SUMMARY/BASIC PURPOSE:  Design, develop, program and test electrical/electronic circuits and programmable devices for prototype and engineering printer projects. Generate detailed block diagrams, schematics, BOM’s, and netlists for these circuits.

 

2. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 Lead design efforts on new printer designs using the following:Develop detailed specifications for new projectsProgram, simulate, and test programmable devices (i.e. FPGA’s and microprocessors)Device Selection and QualificationPerform schematic capture of designsDesign verification, test, and system integration on new electrical assembliesRoot cause analysis on prototype failuresDocumentation for new assembliesCommunicate and interface with software and mechanical engineers on design teamsProvide leadership to Junior EE’s on these designs

 

3.  JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

 

  Education and Experience  M.S. or B.S. Electrical or Computer Engineering degree5+ years electrical design experienceProject flow experience from concept to productionExperience working in a Manufacturing environment
