Our chip design group supports two of the four lines of business within the Wireless Connectivity Business Unit. We are working on exciting SOC's in the cutting edge fields of mobile TV (television on your cell phone or laptop) and VoIP, as well as others. If you prefer a group with a small company feeling, but the stability of a market leading company, then join our group and make a real impact to our projects!The candidate will work as a senior individual contributor, working towards the successful implementation of LogicVision LogicBIST and RAM BIST in our chips. The candidate will fully verify the test insertion through simulation and timing analysis, generate vectors for the ATE, and work with test engineering to bring-up the vectors.If this all sounds good to you, then submit your resume, and join our team!!Qualifications:BSEE + MSEE (preferred) with a minimum of 6 years of experience in ASIC design. Title is negotiable based on experience. Candidate should have expert knowledge of design-for-test methodologies. Knowledge in several of the following areas is preferred:- LogicVision LogicBIST and RAM BIST experience is a very strong preference- Experience bringing up DFT patterns alongside the test engineering group- Design for test using Tetramax, or similar tool- Static timing using PrimeTime or similar tool- Logic design using Verilog or VHDL- Strong programming skills in Perl and TCL- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented - Team player and easy to work withWe are currently not hiring new college grads, so please do not submit your resume if you do not meet the requirements.
