Senior Applications Engineer

 

Duties:

• Responsible for providing complex technical design and technical marketing support for the development and implementation of demonstrations of product capability and customer applications of company’s SOC products.

• Will provide technical support to the sales staff in determining possible application of products to customer requirements.

• Engineer will be heavily involved during the product definition and validation phases of product development.

• Responsible for the development of demonstration systems including PCB’s and necessary demonstration firmware for company’s SOC products.

• Perform training and follow-up technical support to customers, including assistance during the development phase and provide detailed product specifications.

• Responsible for associated technical documentation (data sheets, application notes and user's guides).

 

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in the development of processor/microcontroller based systems and applications, preferably for data acquisition and measurement applications.

• Must have recent experience in board-level design, firmware development, and debug.

• Strong communication and writing skills required.

• Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong lab skills required.

• Prior analog or mixed signal design experience and high-speed PCB design is a plus.

 

Education:

• BSEE degree required. MSEE desired.
