The territory may includeMO, KS, IA, MN, ND, SD. BASIC FUNCTION:Selling Office Equipment Products/Solutions to Panasonic Dealers. ManagingDealers Sales Activities/Performance relating to Panasonic Product. Assist increating End-User demand and growing the revenue base in the assigned geographicterritory. ACCOUNTABILITIES:1. Selling/Account Mgmt./Customer Servicea. Attain minimum of 100% of assigned sales quotab. Develop business and relationships with Dealers through close communicationsc. Promote new and key products to this customer base through demonstrations andpresentations.d. Collaborate with internal departments to develop and manage sales andmarketing programs to increase awareness & demand for our productse. Maintain records of customer information & performance. Establish goalsand track performance to objectivesf. Manage customer service issues to ensure the highest level of customersatisfaction and retention 2. Prospect Developmenta. Develop & identify new dealer opportunities through prospecting andmaking dealer calls/demos to meet the company objectives of establishing newbusiness opportunities.b. Work with dealers as much as possible to help develop this new business.c. Maintain data base of calls to prospects for future use and communications.d. Attend trade shows, events and meetings to identify new prospects. 3. Planning Administrationa. Provide timely, accurate & complete sales reports and forecasts. Attendrequired sales conference calls and meetings.b. Give thorough market feedback to managementc. Give a high degree of attention to individual performance against theassigned business pland. Plan activities, agendas, programs with achieving business budget always inminde. Give high attention to the plan numbers, current and projected performance tothat plan 4. Product Knowledgea. Maintain a high level of product knowledge; attend product/software trainingas available.b. Maintain a high level of competitive product awarenessc. Keep abreast of the changes in technologies and communicate this knowledge onto your dealers/customers MANAGEMENT:Managing all aspects of the dealer business with Panasonic, concisely andprofessionally and ensure that the territory has the optimum dealerrepresentation to maximize the revenue opportunities in the territory. PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW:Exercising judgment in presenting and selling the product to the customer.Effectively navigate the internal organization to resolve issues and customerrequirements. Professionalism a must. BA./B.S. in business, although not arequirement, is a positive in this position. 5+ years sales experience; officeproducts industry experience strongly preferred. COMMUNICATION:Strong verbal/written communication skills required. Must constantly communicatewith dealers, management, and internal staff in a very clear and positivemanner. This requires very professional conversation, presentation, and problemsolving skills.
