The Sound Room (www.thesoundroom.com ) was founded in 1983 with the goal of providing high quality audio and video at competitive prices and the highest standard of customer service. The Sound Room strives to make it easy for customers in today's highly technical area of home electronics. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced sales professionals to join our staff. We have openings in Creve Coeur and Chesterfield.

 

Sales Professional (Video Systems Sales)

 

As the Sales Professional, you will develop working relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Home Builders, Contractors, Professional Remodelers and home owners in order to sell Audio/Video products and systems. You will also be responsible for system design, project planning, revenue goals, customer relations and producing as much product sales each day as possible to meet the needs of the customers and implement the general policies set forth by The Sound Room.

 

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidates will possess a strong sales track record, demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and will adeptly manage multiple detailed projects. This motivated team player will also possess the following skills, knowledge and experiences:

·  Excellent sales and closing skills

·  Understanding of home construction and design

·  Technical sales skills

·  Talent to design and sell custom, large ticket electronic products and services

·  Knowledge of various types of equipment utilized in the industry and competitors in the local area

·  Knowledge of computer software used for point of sale

·  Excellent customer service, problem solving and interpersonal skills
