Mission:
Increase sales of Electronic Assembly Equipment and related process material’s in Central Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.Develop and maintain sound, mutually beneficial, long term relationships with our customers, prospects and principals.Exceed customer expectations by providing equipment and material solutions that will positively affect their company’s bottom line.Represent a leader in the industry, up hold at any cost the integrity and loyalty that our company has maintained for 48 years.
Reporting Relationship:
The Outside Sales Professional reports directly to the President and will also maintain a close relationship with our equipment and material suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Calling on both large and small companies in the electronics manufacturing industry.Consistently a hunter by exceeding the territory sales plan and conducting cold calls to develop new accounts and drive growth.Working with process/manufacturing engineers, supervisors, operations managers, presidents and owners of companies. Must call at ALL levels within our customer’s organization.Selling mid to high end capital equipment which in many cases requires a long sales cycle.Selling lower cost distributor type supplies used in our customers manufacturing processes.Continuous education of our products, industry trends, and customer’s requirements is required in an effort to provide sound technical solutions to our customers.Maintain territory database in Microsoft CRM. This to include accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities. Some local travel required, on average 6 nights per month.
Must Haves:
The ability to maintain higher than normal profit margins, in a highly competitive industry.Must possess solid prospecting skills.Must be a hunter not a farmer.Strong closing skills required.At least five years of outside sales experience. Good technical skills and the ability to work with engineers.Knowledge of the territories.Prior success selling capital equipment and/or systems.Must have track record of earning $75,000 and above.Bachelors Degree in either engineering or business administration.
Nice to Have:
Some industry knowledge. Including soldering and SMT (Surface Mount Assembly)Sandler Sales Training experience.Relationships with our current customer base.
