SSI_ASIC Engineering Manager

Position Summary
Samsung Semiconductor is currently searching for a highly motivated person to join the System LSI Engineering organization as a Front-End ASIC Engineer to design custom ASIC chips for Samsung customers.Common Essential Duties & Resp.
Assist ASIC customers in use of Samsung's ASIC design kits and methodology including : libraries, digital/analog IP's, DFT, test integration, delay calculation, layout interface, test pattern generation, bonding diagram generation. Interface between customer and Samsung layout engineer during layout stage. Interface between customer and Samsung headquarter in Korea to answer questions related to IP, tools, design flow, test pattern debug, etc. Serve as primary Samsung technical contact for customer through all stages of ASIC lifecycle, from design win to prototype delivery. Ensure smooth, on-time implementation of ASIC projects by tracking schedule and following up technical issues/action items for Samsung. Background/Experience
5+ years ASIC design experience, or ASIC FAE/customer engineer/design center engineer experience Prefer multi-million gate ASIC tape-outs (90nm or smaller geometry) experience Prefer hands on Verilog gate-level simulation experience Prefer working knowledge of at least three of the following: Synthesis, DFT/ATPG, Static Timing Analysis, ARM Core Embedded ASICs, or Mixed Signal Embedded ASICs, DRAM/Flash embedded ASICS BSEE MSEE preferred
