SR. DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Job: Sr. Development Engineer Location: Dallas, TX Job No.: 1783133 Industry: Semiconductor Base salary range: $80k/yr. - $110k/yr. A world-class semiconductor capital equipment corporation, located in Dallas, TX needs, IMMEDIATELY, a Senior Development Engineer. This Senior Development Engineer's education and background will include the following:- MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering; - Minimum of five years of closely related, hands-on experience, with the last, min. of two years in a lead capacity; Specific experience should include most of the following:- Development of advanced GaN and GaAs devices and processes for microwave and millimeter-wave (power, low noise devices and MMIC's); - Strong background in III-V device fabrication; - DC and RF characterization; - Basics of circuit design; - Knowledge of equivalent circuits and load pull; - Device physics and simulation; - Working with military and commercial customers; - Development of proposals for new contracts.
