SMT Operator

Responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines used in the SMT process, including screen printers and component placement machines. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Adheres to general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments. Other duties as required. The ideal candidate will be hard working and have reliable transportation.Must have 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment with SMT placement machines. Must have knowledge and understanding of SPC methods and reporting. Must have the ability to work in a continuous improvement environment. Must have the ability to work in a high stress, fast moving, demanding work environment. Must be detailed oriented. Must be a self-starter. Must be quality oriented. Works well in team environment.
