SMT Machine Operator

DESCRIPTION

 

DITEK Corporation, a leading surge protection Manufacturer headquartered in Largo, Florida, is looking for a qualified SMT Machine Operator.

 

The SMT Machine Operator is responsible for supporting Manufacturing and Quality functions by operating automatic and semi-automatic machines per the approved processes and procedures.

 

Operate all equipment in a safe manner.

 

Perform the building of prototype products from limited information as required.

 

Fully set-up, operate and perform scheduled maintenance as defined.

 

Must be able to set-up and run a screen printer and reflow oven.

 

Computer literate and basic understanding of machine type operating software programs.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Experience:

 

2 or more years of experience running a SMT machine.  Experience in the automated manufacturing of printed circuit assemblies and their associated processes.  Experience with MYDATA, Universal 47 series and GSM a plus.  Must have experience in component identification.

 

General requirements:

 

Self starter with the ability to work flexible hours with minimal notice.  Highly motivated requiring minimal direct supervision.  Ability to reason thru process development and support of new technologies.  Computer literate with a focus on machine type supporting softwares.  Can communicate effectively on machine issues or performance to help improve the process of troubleshooting machine problems and performance.

 

Physical Demands:

 

Lifting up to 35 pounds and a variety of bending and physical movements to assist the manufacturing processes.

 

JOB DETAILS 

 

Full Time position Monday thru Thursday.  Hours of work are 6:00am to 4:30pm.  Must be dependable and quality conscious.
