SEA_Supply Chain Planner I

Position Summary
This position contributes to the overall logistics planning cycle for a specific product group or category. Provides sales support and supply chain management to the SCM Management team. Activities may include data gathering and analysis for any of the following activities; inventory management, manufacturing decisions, and delivery schedules. This position may work directly with Samsung Sales, Manufacturing, and Logistics operations to coordinate inventory levels and delivery schedules both locally and overseas.Common Essential Duties & Resp.
*Coordinates purchase orders, sales orders and inventory for a specific product group to maximize revenue*Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding customer orders, product availability and status changes*Oversees the PO database and maintains open PO quantities for accurate and up to date information including pricing and quantity*Analyzes product costs to determine actual product handling costs, to determine total cost of goods, and to track sales and costing trends to accurately determine service costs involved in delivery of products*Communicates with Seoul headquarters, overseas production plants, and sales subsidiaries regarding supply planning and production activitiesBackground/Experience
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceNecessary Skills / Attributes
