SALES OPERATION SUPERVISOR

Murata Electronics North America, Inc., a leading international electronic component sales organization, is seeking a Sales Operation Supervisor for our Rockmart, Georgia office.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for all customer satisfaction issues for their assigned accounts.  It serves as the key link between Sales, customer and Operations.  This position is also responsible for the day to day supervision of the Sales Planners.  Additional responsibilities include the coordination of day to day operational support for the Sales Planner.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

Provide leadership and supervision to Sales Planners

Provide day to day operational support to Sales Planners and Sales (Key Account Managers)

Supervise assigned Sales Planners (including Performance Appraisals, discipline and development, etc)

Assign, monitor and balance workload of Sales Planners

Provide service metrics and monthly reports

Monitor all key activities within service - including daily / weekly / monthly follow-up with Sales Planners and Sales where needed.

 

Education/Skills/Knowledge:

·  Excellent PC skills – (knowledge of excel and access an asset)

·  Requires excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

·  Understand customer forecast and the effect it has on a factory and how to use the demand information to meet customer requirements.

·  Requires the ability to effectively analyze a situation and communicate the resolution to either the Sales planner, Sales or customer

 

·  4 year college degree preferred and / or previous supervisory experience in service or related areas.
