The ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual contributor is desired. The ideal candidate must be able to make a meaningful contribution throughout all phases of the product development lifecycle. They must be able to interpret industry standards documents to derive product requirements and contribute to high level and low level design as well as perform the software implementation. - BSCS or better. - Knowledge of software and systems development processes including rapid development and object oriented programming and design, operating system concepts and multi-threaded environments. - System software development experience in an embedded Linux environment. - Some knowledge of communications protocols is desirable. TPC/IP, Ethernet, WiFi, WiMAX - Knowledge of Web Server and Client side development using Java based languages and scripting such as Pearl and PHP are desirable.
