Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation is seeking a Returns Material Authorization (RMA)/Customer Service Specialist for Camas, WA facility.
Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support for the customer service order processing function including placing and maintaining customer orders, providing information on stock availability, managing department and product files and creating correspondence.
Job Responsibilities:
· Coordinates material movement and logistics with customers and vendors to minimize total overall cost.
· Interfaces with Materials Scheduler to ascertain materials availability and repair capacity.
· Issues Return Materials Authorizations to customers.
· Data entry of new and change orders into the SAP system.
· Inputs invoicing data and adjustments into database, ensuring accurate and timely entry.
· Interfaces with collections to generate invoices, credit memos, adjustments and summaries.
· Performs reconciliation of invoicing and shipping & receiving.
· Tracks area activities, including revenue, work order process, work in process (WIP) and blanket purchase orders.
· Interfaces with area managers, supervisors and engineers to ascertain repair/return priorities.
· Compiles data and generates requested reports.
· Maintains department, product and individual customer activity electronic files.
Job Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in business or related area preferred.
Experience & Skills:
· Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
· Ability to effectively respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
· Must have knowledge of customer service practices, exposure to processing orders and a strong understanding of the returns process.
· Requires a minimum of (2) years experience interfacing with customers or working in service related business.
· Familiarity with billing and accounts receivable activities.
· Solid computer skills including experience working with spreadsheets, word processors, and database programs. Specific experience with Excel and Word is preferred. Experience with SAP or similar system required.
· General knowledge of the electronics industry preferred.
