Representative, Field Service Senior

The Services Team works on electrical and automation control equipment and provides onsite repair and maintenance, custom equipment design, wiring, installation & testing, and start-up & commissioning of Schneider Electric equipment. We have 24 service districts that provide opportunities all across the United States. Job Responsibilities: This position is accountable for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment (3-phase power circuit breakers, variable frequency drives, protective relays, transformers, Low and medium voltage power distribution switchgear). Instructs customers and sales personnel on the operation and maintenance of such equipment. Installs, services and repairs electrical power distribution equipment. Performs warranty work and start-up service. Performs testing, calibration, checking, correcting, adjusting and part component replacement services on electrical power distribution equipment. Tests circuits and equipment utilizing various tools and machines such as computers, digital low-resistance ohmmeters, insulation resistance/high potential test (meggers), power factor, and transformer turns ratio & primary current injection. Instructs customers and sales personnel on the operation and customer maintenance of equipment. Provides technical support in product service, product training and applications. Consults with product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to complex problems in system operation. Reports customer suggestions on product improvement and existing product designs to the appropriate technical specialist. Implements power switchgear modifications and provides installation support for the modifications. Develops and maintains ongoing customer relationships with regards to all aspects of power distribution equipment repair and maintenance.
