Reporting Database Administrator

We are seeking new associates that are motivated to contribute their talents to making cost effective solar energy an important part of the world’s energy mix.  .Basic Job Functions: Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the First Solar’s Reporting Services. Implements Manufacturing and ERP Report models, System collaboration between SSIS, SSAS, SSRS with SQL Server databases, Disaster Recovery of the SSRS Systems globally. Required Experience:  · Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and related tools.· Should have experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)· Should have experience with SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services)· Should have experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)· Should have very familiar with Visual Studio Development.· Expertise in Reporting Services Security and Administration.· A minimum of 5 years as a Microsoft SSRS development and Administration.· SQL Server 2005 replication configuration, creation & maintenance· Should have experience with Microsoft Management Studio, other relational and/or multi dimensional database packages and related tools, experience developing and implementing distributed databases, enterprise data models, data warehouse and/or data dictionaries and experience in OLAP/Multi-dimensional Technologies and other SQL/RDBMS technology and techniques.· Experience of MS Access· Experience in a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment. Education:· 4 year degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Required Skills:· Solid skills in SSRS Install, Configure, Deploy and Maintain.· Solid skills with Disaster Recovery with SSRS system restore and its high availability.· Solid skills with Transac SQL, debugging stored procedures and triggers.· Solid skills with Visual Studio development.· Minimum 3 years of work experience as with SQL Server 2005.· Strong Database Management skills, including backup and recovery procedures · Solid skills in productivity factors and ability to understand impact of problem on overall database performance and maintenance.· Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes · Strong skills in maintenance tools and procedures · Solid skills with one or more programming language and design technique.· Ability to define physical and logical data structures.· Ability to work with Of the Shelf Software such as Microsoft Dynamics, CRM or MRO and PeopleSoft. Essential Functions & Responsibilities· Recoverability - Creating and testing Backups · Integrity - Verifying or helping to verify data integrity · Security - Defining and/or implementing access controls to the data · Availability - Ensuring maximum uptime · Performance - Ensuring maximum performance given budgetary constraints· Development : Visual Studio· Development and testing support - Helping programmers and engineers to efficiently utilize the database. · Migrating from legacy· Production database uptime· Archiving· Data modeling· Database Mirroring and Replication.· Working Experience on MS Cluster. See Job Description.
