The Electronics Group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics designs and manufactures high-density, high-reliability electronics for our aerospace, space, military, medical, industrial, and commercial customers. Our products are known for their technical strength, proven reliability and overall value. We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for Reliability Engineer. Reporting to the Power Solutions Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for performing reliability predictions, stress analysis, worst case circuit tolerance analysis, FMEA, fault trees, and failure analysis on low and high voltage power supplies, battery chargers and power management. Responsibilities: Â· Generate reports and analysis findings.· Devise sampling plans and procedures.· Draft FMEA sheets that identify units and circuits posing excessive failure risk to support changes in the design.· Advised and confers with engineers in design review meetings considering alternative design solutions to give reliability findings and recommendations.· Monitor failure data and prepare failure root cause analysis and publish results   Minimum Requirements: Â· B.S. Electrical Engineering.· 5+ years relevant reliability engineering and circuit analysis experience.· Demonstrated experience with environmental stress screening and application of HALT techniques.· Knowledge of Safety aspects of certification for aircraft systems· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Special Work Conditions: Â· Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information. · Eligibility requirements include U.S. nationals or permanent residents (Green Card).  This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.  It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job.Crane Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
