Receptionist

Trango Broadband Wireless, an engineering firm and manufacturing company, is looking for a dedicated and professional person to maintain the front office.  This position is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support customer service and other admin staff as required.  Please see further description below.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Greet visitors, handle incoming calls, while screening some and performs general administrative duties.  Supplies information to callers, relays messages and announces visitors. 

· Sorts and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.  May operate electrical mailing equipment.

· Performs basic clerical tasks such as systematically arranging letters, invoices and other indexed documents according to an established system.

· Also may assist other admin staff with overflow work, including data entry, using the mail merge function, stuffing and mailing certificates as needed, purchasing online and internet research tasks.

· Will also input information from a variety of sources into an excel database, our internal RMA database as well as input customer tracking information into our web based system.

· Program NORTEL phone system and make necessary changes as required.

· Update existing internal phone listing as required using excel.

· Required to keep the office supply cabinet stocked, by taking an inventory of depleted items and ordering additional items as needed.

· Assist in other duties as needed and directed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of:  Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and Acrobat.
