Job Duties  Work closely with experienced transceiver IC systems engineers to create new cellular transceiver architectures and design transistor level RF and mixed-signal circuits in deep sub-micron CMOS and other RF process nodes. Collaborate with world-class baseband design teams (hardware and software) and board-level reference design teams to develop circuit blocks for complete multimode platform architectures which are optimized for performance, size, and cost.  

Requirements Transistor level design experience on complex RF and mixed-signal transceivers. Experience in deep sub-micron CMOS required with experience in other RF process nodes desirable. Experience with system line-ups and ability to trade-off transistor level implementation against system specifications. Knowledge of transmit and receive wireless transceiver architectures and circuit blocks including:  LNAs, Up and Down conversion Mixers, VCOs, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, Baseband continuous filters, and Variable gain amplifiers. Knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS, WCDMA and TD-SCDMA is beneficial as are other wireless standards such as GPS, UWB, WLAN, and Bluetooth. 10 years working experience with last 5 working on wireless standards. Team player who can self manage and innovate, good communication and written skills. MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering desirable.
