Quality Engineer/Specialist

This individual will facilitate the internal “resolving the issueâ€� team and manage the pipeline of lots which have been out of the factory. Laterally involve appropriate organizations and coordinate an effective permanent solution. Quality Systems: Ensure compliance to TS and ISO 14001 quality systems. Support MRB, PCRB, Calibration and document control systems. Support corporate quality initiatives. Promptly respond to customer 8-D within expected cycle time and work with the internal factories groups to get closure. Process Control: Report health of the line in terms of scrap reduction and system compliance status. Support process control maturity model deliverables (FMEA/ Control Plan, SPC Charts/OCAPs/Limits, Metrology Management, Instability Index, Cpk, Management Skills, Management systems). Support the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), FMEA and calibration of test and measurement equipment. Support maverick program implementation. Support the improvement of supplier performance to improve yield. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Degree in Engineering, physics, or other technical degree with emphasis or Associate degree with 8 years experience in Quality systems.
