Quality Engineer/Specialist
INTERNATIONAL RECTIFIER for more than five decades has been a world leader in power management technology. Leading manufacturers of computers, energy efficient appliances, lighting, automobiles, satellites, aircraft and defense systems rely on IR's power management benchmarks to power their next generation products.The Quality Engineer/Specialist position is the point of contact for customers on quality excursions and customer interface for the Division Arizona facility. This individual will facilitate the internal “resolving the issue” team and manage the pipeline of lots which have been out of the factory. Laterally involve appropriate organizations and coordinate an effective permanent solution. Quality Systems: Ensure compliance to TS and ISO 14001 quality systems. Support MRB, PCRB, Calibration and document control systems. Support corporate quality initiatives. Promptly respond to customer 8-D within expected cycle time and work with the internal factories groups to get closure. Process Control: Report health of the line in terms of scrap reduction and system compliance status. Support process control maturity model deliverables (FMEA/ Control Plan, SPC Charts/OCAPs/Limits, Metrology Management, Instability Index, Cpk, Management Skills, Management systems). Support the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), FMEA and calibration of test and measurement equipment. Support maverick program implementation. Support the improvement of supplier performance to improve yield. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Degree in Engineering, physics, or other technical degree with emphasis or Associate degree with 8 years experience in Quality systems. Must possess excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and project management skills. • Requires expert PC skills using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Submit Your Resume Online Now
