Our Fastener Division in Columbus, IN is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to support the execution of our Global Management System and the satisfaction of our customers and their requirements.If you are a highly motivated, organized, strive to win as a team player -- then we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities:Process improvement - Lead teams in continuous improvement activities and process redesign and/or participate in internal and external teams.  Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new programs – evaluating supplier PPAP’s and submitting customers PPAS’sEngineering Change process management Corrective action management for customers, suppliers and internal issues.Concession management.Hosting & coordinating customer visits.Product evaluation to customer drawings and/or industry standards...Support of RQM as needed to meet Quality goals and requirements

Based Qualifications Bachelor of Science in a technical field including 3 – 5 years of related experience or ASQ certification as a CQE or CQT including 5 + years of Quality Engineering or Technician experience Corrective action experience from customers and suppliers PPAP and/or APQP experience Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation



Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Quality Control or Engineering or related field Six Sigma methodology and experience or Lean manufacturing, 5S Kaizen and other continuous methodology  ASQ certification as a  Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
