Quality Assurance Compliance Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Establishes and maintains the quality management system per ISO9001:2000. Schedules, officiates and focal point for annual audits with DNV.

·     Handles supplier quality issues – initiates, follows up and completes.

·     Sonoscan – responsible for analyzing production red evals, engineering prototypes and special projects. Also responsible for the maintenance and performance of Sonoscan (C-SAM 9000).

·     Manages the Internal Quality Audit Team, sets annual audit schedule and communicates to management. Active participant in the IQA audits and training of the audit team.

·     For all Customer shipments – Gathers, reviews and approves all data for each shipment. Generates certificates of conformance, origin and any additional quality required paperwork for shipment.

·     Identifies opportunities for improvement of the quality management system

·     Initiates corrective and preventive actions.

·     Maintains and calibrates measuring and test equipment for production, wafer fab and engineering.

·     Initiates incoming inspection – packages, flanges, lids and metal substrate, collects results and initiates supplier non-conformances as needed. 

·     Documentation review and signoff approval for company drawings.

·     Identifies the need to use Statistical Process control techniques

·     Handles customer complaints/inquiries and facilitates process from start to completion.

·     Coordinates collection of quality performance data ·     Provides required training for quality personnel as well as production and engineering as needed.
