Our client in Pottstown has an immediate need for a Programmer Analyst for their Pottstown, PA location. The computer programmer/analyst will design, develop, support, and maintain this companies Website and other company applications using VB.Net, SQL, Access, Baan LN ERP and other programs in a Windows environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited too: Â· Design, development and maintenance of the companyâ€™s website, including defining objectives, analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features/functionality. Â· Writing programs to optimize data extraction and usage from both the website and the Bann LN ERP computer system using VB.Net, Access, Excel, and SQL. Â· Maintaining and optimizing associated reports Â· Designing, developing, testing and new functionality of programs. Â· Creating and maintaining databases for all company technical specifications. Â· Working with IT on databases and programs for all the company departmentsRequired Skills: Â· Associates Degree in Computer Science of Information Technology or equivalent education/experience 3-4 yearsÂ· VB.NET and ASP.Net programming experience 3-4 years SQL, ODBC and Access experience Â· 3-4 years developing in Visual Studio.Net Â· Expert user and programmer of all Microsoft Office programs particularly Access and Excel Â· 1-2 years experience in website creation and maintenance Â· Excellent analytical, teamwork and interpersonal skill Â· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentÂ· Must be an expert in VB.Net and Microsoft OfficeThe following skills are a HUGE plus: Prior experience with the Baan ERP system Experience in Database design and development Hands-on Project Management experience SQL stored procedure development experience XML knowledge SOAP knowledge MS Sharepoint knowledge MS Source Safe knowledge **For immediate consideration, please email a Word version of your current resume to philadelphia@remxit.com and reference "152748-scd" in the subject line.
