Program Manager of Transitions

 Suntron Corporation is an industry leader in electronic manufacturing services delivering complete manufacturing services and solutions to support the entire life cycle of complex products in the semi-conductor capital equipment, aerospace and defense, medical and industrial markets. 

 

This position is responsible for the full cycle transition management of complex projects from a specific site to another or from a new customer into our Mexico facility.  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certifications and/or experience, MBA preferred.  Demonstrated proficiency in a program manager position and significant related experience in the area of discipline or in a “cross-disciplineâ€� position highly desired.

 

Accountabilities:

·  Manages all aspects of a project from situation analysis through problem resolution.

·  Establishes both long and short-term project goals, also develops, implements and manages project plans and timelines to meet those goals.

·  Provides the first line of contact with the customer (internal/external) throughout the process and maintains customer relationships.

·  Coordinates the integration of all processes associated with the project, program and/or production flow of the product.

·  Provides training, coaching and professional development to cross functional team.

·  Drives and/or participates in process improvement efforts and consistently improves transition process.

 

Required Skills:

·  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

·  Ability to collect, compile, analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data effectively both internally and externally at all levels of the organization.

·  Ability to manage multiple transition programs or projects.

·  Must also be able to lead large, cross-organizational, diverse work teams, facilitate work processes and motivate employees who are not in their reporting structure.

·  Excellent writing and presentation skills and excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

·  Ability to solve unique problems across disciplines, in situations where there is limited precedent.

·  Ability to use independent judgment and reasoning skills

·  Ability to effectively multi-task and manage cross functional processes and teams
