Position Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing large, multi-disciplinary programs from concept to production. This includes general coordination and communication management, authoring and maintaining the program scope, creating and maintaining the detailed program schedule, identifying and actively managing program risks and associated mitigation and contingency plans, planning and managing the budget associated with the program. This person will also provide leadership to the cross-functional program team comprised of Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing personnel. The candidate will provide the planning and engineering management of core products with an emphasis on SW release management.The candidate must have 4+ years experience managing large HW & SW programs from concept to production, delivering revenue-generating products. Program management experience in a high-tech field involving software and hardware is desired. Emphasis on SW development management also highly desired. Experience with MS Project or equivalent scheduling software is required. Experience with development/certification of complex hardware and/or software systems is also desired. Experience dealing with OEM customers and their development cycles is a also desired.
