Product Specialist - Transit System
McCain, Inc., a leader in traffic management systems is seeking a Product Specialist to be fully responsible for the implementation and management of the existing projects with Transit Agencies in the greater Seattle area. The position will be fully responsible for ensuring that this project is successful from both McCain and the customers’ perspective. This position will interface with the various departments both internal and external as needed to obtain material, status, as well as any contractual items needed. This person will make sure the projects are on time, within the budget and maintain all records related to that particular project.

Responsibilities:
1.   Responsible for the commissioning of the product in the field.
2.   Provide written and verbal status updates on the various projects.
3.   Provide project reports on each project as required by the contract.
4.   Maintain Project File both electronically and hard copy.
5.   Act as the liaison with the project customer.
6.   Provide both in-house and field support on technical issues.
7.   Communicate with other departments as required.
8.   Manage schedule of time to meet field requirements of the various projects.
9.   Schedule delivery of the product to the customer.
10. Provide field surveys as required.
11. Provide product training as required.
12. Provide installation support to the customer’s installation contractor.
13. Attend internal and external project meetings as required.
14. Maintain project schedule.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:
1.   Ability to handle multiple tasks.
2.   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3.   Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
4.   Ability to interact with customers and all levels of personnel in a professional manner.
5.   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
6.   Maintain highest level of professionalism while under pressure.
7.   Ability to work in high paced environment.
8.   Ability to work in the field next to traffic.
9.   Ability to work on a ladder or in an aerial lift up to 35 feet.
10. Basic understanding of electronic control equipment.
11. Basic understanding of communication systems.
12. Possess excellent phone professionalism.
13. Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
14. Minimum of 5 years of Field Service in the Transportation or the Transit Industry.
15. Minimum of an IMSA Level 1.
16. Experience in various communications media (Fiber Optic, Wireless, Copper, etc.)
17. Must have a current Washington State Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
