Product Marketing Intern Full Time, One Year position

Product Marketing Internship for Consumer Luminaries

The New Ventures Group, one of OSRAM SYLVANIA’s fastest growing business units, is looking for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills to assist in all aspects of product management under the direction of the Product Marketing team. The NVG develops innovative consumer luminaire products such as the SYLVANIA DOT-it® utilizing LED technology. Qualified candidate must demonstrate ability to juggle multiple tasks, possess a passion for learning, attention to detail, and willingness to work within a team environment.



Assist in all aspects of product lifecycle management under the direction of the Product Marketing Management team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Assist in marketing related activities in new product development and product management, primarily for North America, but with global collaboration as required


- Manage product marketing databases for the New Ventures Group


- Manage new product launch activities including product information bulletin and E-commerce activities



- Assist in sales text creation, and provide support for packaging and graphics creation as required



- Provide support to sales channels such as sample requests and new product launch sales tools



THIS POSITION IS A FULL-TIME INTERNSHIP. CANDIDATE MUST BE A CURRENT STUDENT OR A RECENT GRADUATE.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This is a full time 40 hour per week position. We cannot consider any schedule other than 8am-5pm M-F. This is an internship--no benefits are included in this position. No relocation provided.
Student pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or engineering. Preferably a junior, senior or 08 graduate

Computer skills to include database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation development, SAP proficiency.
