Process Integration Engineer - Emerging Memory
As a Process Integration Engineer working on Emerging Memory Technology at Micron, you will be working in an industry leading 300mm R&D facility on technology which enables future memory scaling. You will be responsible for leading efforts focused on the performance and manufacturability of Emerging Memory Technology. Areas of concentration will include Integration and Circuit issues specific to emerging memories such as PCM, RRAM, STT, Nanotube, 3D, Crosspoint, FBC, etc. Responsibilities will include evaluation of in-line, probe, parametric, and back end data. Design and management of experiments run in the R&D Environment is required. This position requires an innovative leader with creative problem solving skills focused on optimizing process flows and materials which enable future memory chip integration. As an integral part of R&D, you will engage with numerous cross-functional teams including Process Development, Product Engineering, Design, YE, Advanced Mask, Probe, etc. to arrive at solutions to yield and margin issues.Successful candidates for this position will have: A thorough knowledge of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, NOR, & SRAM acquired through significant industry experience. Understanding of the physics and challenges/opportunities facing alternative memory technologies is expected. Familiarity with both Process Integration & Circuit/Architecture issues facing Memory Cell performance. Proficiency with data analysis, DOE, and statistical techniques is assumed. Excellent communication, organizational, and team building skills. The ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment.Education: MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or other related technical field is required.
