Process Engineering Technician
Process Engineering Technician The Process Engineering Technician will support SIC string plant operations start-up and capacity expansion. Process control, and process optimization of string production process. Support problem solving activities. Identify and support execution of improvement projects to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals. Factory and tool start-up and qualification. Monitor SPC and process run data to identify trends. Manage problem solving and improvement tests with preliminary analysis of the results. Communicate results of testing and analysis to Management. Associates degree or equivalent years experience as an R&D or Engineering process technician. Electromechanical or chemical background is desirable. Experience in semi-conducting or solar manufacturing is a plus. Hands on experience in chemical vapor deposition technologies desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be proficient in MS Office suite of products as well as able to utilize ERP and MES systems for data collection and process monitoring. Evergreen Solar is an Equal Opportunity Employer
