Directly responsible for achieving or exceeding revenue, profitability and market share objectives through the selling of company printer and/or scanner products and solutions to defined customer base/channel within specific geographic territory. Utilizes professional selling and relationship building skills in the presentation of printer/scanner products and solutions to end user specific business needs. Prioritize and coordinate account opportunities through the initial prospecting phase to the closing of the sale. Work directly with direct sales and customers to ensure company offered product capabilities are not misrepresented in the solution of customer?s business needs. Participate in Trade Shows, product demonstrations and launches. Taking ownership to coordinate appropriate company resources and their outputs as required (technical sales or marketing support, bid and proposal, pricing, contracting, etc.) in order to present a timely, value added, innovative and price competitive solution. Utilize collateral sales support tools, product training and other sales materials in the presentation of company products and capability. Gather, monitor and report market, end-user and competitive product information to appropriate internal organizations for their information and use. After sale, follow up with customer to maintain good customer relations and customer/territory/channel management. Analytic skills (understanding a situation by breaking it into smaller pieces, or tracing implications in a step-by-step fashion) analyzes relationships among several parts) Demonstrates initiative (in the pursuit of opportunities, challenges and achievement of goals). Excellent consultative selling/marketing skills RESPONSIBILITIES Promote sales, introduce company scanner/scanner programs and provide account service to assigned (geographic or channel specific) and/or potential customers. Prepare presentations, proposals; bid specifications, strategy solutions to complex customer business needs. Achieve monthly/quarterly/annually established organization unit, revenue and profit margin quotas. Participate in trade shows, exhibits, open house, and product demonstrations and customer training. Participate in customer executive briefings.Attend training and/or workshops to increase product knowledge and capability. Be equally informed on competitor products and capability.Takes ownership of sales process; coordinate technical support, bid and proposal, contract preparation efforts.Follow up on delivery, installation and customer training as needed. REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree or equivalent sales experience. 7 to 9 years directly related high tech printer/scanner industry and channel sales experience. Extensive Sales Account/Marketing Management experience of multi-user printer/scanner products in a medium to large company with an established printer manufacturer Seasoned technical knowledge of PC and solutions with emphasis of the color and medium to high volume network printer/scanner products and the market Ricoh Americas Corporation offers a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, medical/dental, 401(k), pension plan, and more.
