Principal Design Automation Engineer / FES1829

Position Description:We are seeking an outstanding candidate in the area of design automation to support/maintain/improve an ADS/Cadence/Calibre/APD based Design Environment.The duties include but are not limited to:1.Development of process technology design kits built in ADS/Cadence/Calibre2.Development and maintenance of the links among ADS/Cadence/Calibre/APD and EM Engine such as Momentum/Sonnet/HFSS/etc.3.Customization of ADS/Cadence/Calibre/APD4.Development of models for commercial simulators (ADS, Spectre, Spice, etc.)5.Support of design engineers at multiple design centers across North America6.Document for design kits and design environment, and customer training7.Following industry-wide EDA technology developmentQualifications:The successful candidate must have1.MS in EE/Physics/CS with 5+ years of relevant industry experience2.Expert knowledge of at least one of the tools, ADS/Cadence/Calibre/APD and the associated customization language (AEL/SKILL/AMPLE)3.Expert knowledge on high level programming language such as C/C++, PERL, Java, Tk/Tcl, XML, etc.4.Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/WindowXP operating systems5.Excellent written and oral communication skills6.Good knowledge of Solid State/Device Physics/CircuitsThe following skills are highly desirable1.Prior experience with Devices/Circuit/Module design2.Web publishing skills3.Familiarity with EM Engines4.Familiarity with Device Simulator and Characterization tools such as ICCAP, ISE, etc.5.Familiarity with Mask CAD tool, such as CATS Ref Code: 1829Learn more about "Skyworks Solutions, Inc."
