Plant Manager

Our Client is looking for a Plant Manager. The Client is one of the largest power transformer manufacturers in the USA. The company supplies custom-made transformers to Power generating and distributing companies, heavy industries and other businesses. The company has 3 manufacturing facilities in North America. The Product range covers a wide range, from larger distribution transformers to large power transformers, rectifier and drive-duty transformers, and special transformers for a wide array of applications. The Client has designed transformers to perform at 14,000 feet in the mines in mountains of Chile and for the day to day grueling New York Subway System to Generator and substation applications. Requirements for this Position: A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. If you do not have a Transformer background the Client wants Candidates with Heavy Manufacturing Background.  The Client is Preferring Candidates that have Union Experience over Candidates that have a Non Union background. Need to have had Previous Full Profit and Loss Responsibility. Should have Large Plant Experience – 300 or more people… Looking for Candidates that can transition in a Vice President of Operations one day…   Position reports to Vice President of Operations.     Please email your resume to mergis-toledo@mergisgroup.com along with a daytime phone number.   Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
