PURCHASING SUPERVISOR

 

Lenmar Enterprises, Inc. is a Consumer Electronics Company with branded products distributed worldwide.  Corporate office is located in Camarillo, California with manufacturing offices in Hong Kong, China.

 

We provide over 1200 quality, innovative portable power products for such categories as general purpose, mobile phones, PDAs, DVDs, digital cameras, camcorders, cordless phones, MP3 players, notebook computers, video games handheld barcode scanners, power tools, two-way radios, remote controlled toys, USB powered products and more.

 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Purchasing Supervisor will be based at the company’s headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

 

The Purchasing Supervisor will:

 Maintain and update purchasing files, procedures, quotes, delivery dates, and pricing for all goods.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, domestic and international vendors, freight forwarder, customs and trucking companies.Arrange and coordinate all International and Domestic shipments.Assist with day to day management of delivery schedules.Must work closely with the Warehouse Manager and his staff on inventory issues, shipping needs and packaging requirements.Approve purchase orders and proforma invoices.Negotiate and compare prices with various vendors.Be responsible for purchasing office supplies.Work closely with the Accounting department to insure vendors are receiving payment in a timely manner and research any discrepancies with invoices or shipments.

 

Communications must be efficient and timely to keep all departments informed on pertinent issues that may affect their departments.  Excellent computer skills required. Great Plains experience a plus.
