PUR 200-008 Purchasing/Scheduling Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

 

This position works closely with the Purchasing Controller/Executive VP in all purchasing and scheduling functions.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Follow up delivery schedules on a daily basis.

Prepare purchase quotes based on shortages with approved vendors.

Maintain and reconcile the inventory record at vendor's location.

Contact vendors for rejected parts and do follow up.

All filing and general office duties as necessary.

Assist on scheduling regular and custom production jobs.

Assist on monitoring production schedules.

Assist on verifying accuracy of Bill of Materials before issuing jobs.

Assist on updating sales forecast

Assist on coordinating issues among department.

Perform other projects as assigned by manager. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years work, not necessarily related to purchasing. BA in Business in finance, business or accounting.

 HOURS:

8am - 5 pm
