WHO WE ARE
Crosley Radio is an industry-leading manufacturer of retro consumer electronics supplied to Department Stores (Bon-Ton Stores, Linens-N-Things, Restoration Hardware, Target), Mail Order Catalogs (Brookstone, LL Bean, Pottery Barn) and Specialty Retailers. This growing, multi-channel organization is looking for a talented individual with Product Development experience in the consumer electronics category (or like-minded consumer products) to join our expanding and fast-paced team. This individual will manage all aspects of product ideation from development of initial concept to final delivered product.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify and assess customer needs, market size, competitive landscape, and financial opportunity for new products
· Establish a strategic vision for the company through the development and management of new and existing products
· Manage the product development process for all current and potential categories
· Create a product assortment targeted and developed for the key customer while monitoring risk factors
· Initiate project briefs to ensure timelines are met and effectively communicated
· Negotiate costs/pricing while analyzing product performance and margin opportunities
· Collaborate with in-house creative, engineering, sales and marketing to create product launch strategies
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years of Product Development experience in Consumer Products (Electronics Preferred)
· A strong eye for spotting trends and opportunities with an understanding of the consumer product life cycle
· Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities while managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Experience working in multifunctional/multinational teams with a focused knowledge of Asian manufacturing environments
· Bachelor's degree in a related field required
