Sales Support Administrator

 

Hart Scientific – A Fluke company seeks a talented Sales Support Administrator to work in a fast-paced, high–tech and cutting edge environment.  The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills and strong general administrative skills.  In addition, technical aptitude in electronics, mechanics, physics, chemistry or refrigeration will be a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Process, expedite and coordinate complex and non-standard customer orders (oral and written) from pricing request through completion. Prepare forms, ensure compliance, and perform specific activities and process particular to assigned application. Provide quality responses to delivery, price, commission, and new product inquiries and requests. Coordinate internal questions, concerns, issues, and processes with appropriate organization.  Provide services where appropriate and develop partnerships to ensure customer satisfaction. May review contract/purchase orders to ensure that customers’ quality requirements are met. Exercise considerable initiative in performing complex project assignments. Anticipate potential problems, research, and resolve discrepancies. Ensure “holdsâ€� are cleared as appropriate. Act as an information source on customer order processing and/or service policies and procedures. Maintain applicable reports, records, and systems (manual and computerized).Assist employees of lower classificationPerform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to operate under moderate supervision from established sales policies and quote/order processing guidelines and procedures.  Perform new and varied work with moderate complexity that are recurring in nature with some variation from the norm. Work is spot checked against standard.  Errors in judgment could result in loss of funds, accounts or delays, and could affect Company image. Frequent contact with related Company departments and customers, requiring tact and diplomacy. Possess a working knowledge of applicable order administration procedures, practices, policies and related regulations.  General knowledge of Company products, marketing programs, and/or customer specific requirements. Excellent customer service skills, requiring good oral and written communication skills, including tact and diplomacy.  High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Computer proficiency High School and minimum of 3 years related order administration support/customer service experience or equivalent. Experience in related fields of order fulfillment.
