1. Participate in the set up, and performing of various electrical tests including heatrise, functional testing, RF testing, etc. 2. Participate in the testing and evaluation of field returns. 3. Participate in margin testing of product designs to assess design weaknesses. 4. Build and modify prototype samples of new product designs. 6. Preparing product samples for field evaluation. 7. Assist with system testing of home automation products. 8. May be involved with programming of devices with embedded software. 9. Test RF devices for performance and functionality within a home automation system.     Skills Required / Background: 1. Enrolled in an electrical engineering program or software engineering. 2. Familiarity with electrical test equipment; ie oscilloscope, meters, etc. 3. Reasonable report writing skills. 4. Desire to learn.
