Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 Coordinate activities as identified on the New Model Introduction (NMI) flowcharts for Turnkey, Consignment and OEM products.Evaluate new product documentation for manufacturability.  Work directly with the customer and internal groups to resolve issues.Provide support for manufacturing, purchasing, documentation, and quoting for all new products.Conduct engineering manufacturing reviews. Publish minutes of wrap up meetings for new products.Improve new model introduction times by continuously implementing solutions to problems with the NMI process.Coordinate Design for Manufacturability/Design for Test (DFM / DFT) activities with manufacturing engineering and production supervisors.Track NMI “Critical Milestones” and regularly feedback status to management to ensure proper completion. Perform other assignments as required to support the NMI process.

 

Minimum Job Qualifications:

 Bachelor degree in engineering or associate degree and equivalent experience.Five years of experience as a manufacturing/process engineer. Knowledge of contract electronics manufacturing. Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
