Mechanical Engineer
Job Description:
Responsible for design projects/products as assigned; including, but not limited to, concept design, specification/detailing of components/assemblies, development, testing, documentation and support at initial product launch.
Also may be assigned projects for either continuous improvement of existing products, or to achieve spec compliance.
Establish and meet designated project/product objectives including the relevant product standards for SEMI and CE, etc.
Report on status of designated projects/products on a weekly basis (or more frequently as required) to the Program Manager.
Experience Required:
Five years plus of relevant technical experience is desired. This should include micro-mechanisms for optical applications, semiconductor wafer processing / handling equipment, thermal management (air or other fluids), metrology, or similar scientific equipment.
In-depth knowledge and experienced in use of 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or Pro-E
Experienced in the use of MRP tools such as Syspro
Demonstrated experience of the product design and development process from concept development to final production manufacturing.
Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc
Education:_BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, as a minimum__
