Marketing and Sales Manager Experience (Years): .. Overview: Marketing and Sales Manager Arrow Electronics, Inc. With a commitment to shared leadership, Arrow has an environment that fosters growth and development.At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing and Sales Manager in our Dayton, OH location. The Marketing & Sales Manager will direct and supervise a team of Sales & Marketing Representatives and Product Managers and help them attain NSB and GP$ goals. The MSM will work with the General Manager to develop strategies and tactics for achieving the sales plan and growing the business. The MSM will also work with sales and marketing team to find more efficient ways to perform their job functions. The MSM will interact with local rep/supplier for special-pricing opportunities to maximize GP dollar contribution for the branch. The MSM will ensure branch is in compliance with U.S. Laws and Regulations. The MSM will coach and provide guidance/assistance and training to the sales force in addition to managing the team including employee performance feedback, recruiting and hiring, performance management, etc. Responsibilities: · Manage the Sales and Marketing Reps and the Product Managers including: With direction of the GM manage employee development, hiring and training, performance reviews, salary administration and daily coaching of employees to help them achieve sales and personal goals. · Strategy and Results: Work with GM to help determine and set direction of both teams. Work with individual sales reps and PMs regarding account strategy and tactics, including weekly branch meetings and bi-weekly meeting with vendors. · Data, Reports and Process: Monitor metrics and trends. Update reports. Analyze reports, plans and budgets and assist the GM with sales territories or supplier line assignments. Respond to requests from corporate. Track supplier trends and sales · Interface with Suppliers and Customers. Participate in quarterly business reviews. Work with Suppliers and Customers to create and deliver quotes. Go on account calls and attend meetings. · Strategic/Value Added: Works with teams to implement value added programs such as consignment. Seeks help from GM and other managers to implement. Qualifications: · College Degree or equivalent training and education · 5 - 7 years experience in sales or product management experience in the electronics industry. · Previous management experience or crossroads graduate. · Organizational skills. · Strong communication skills. · Strong computer skills Microsoft Office, PowerPoint. · Knowledge of Arrow's products - Semi and Pemco. · Knowledge of the Arrow system. · Strong negotiating skills. · Strong interpersonal skills and ability to learn quickly.
