Canon U.S.A's Consumer Imaging Division has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Professional with interest in photography! The Marketing Programs Specialist will develop specific marketing plans and activities for the Digital SLR product line to enhance product placement within the competitive arena.  This will include the following; conducting market research, monitoring competitive activity and identifying customer needs as well as assisting with the creation, development and implementation of marketing programs in order to increase the level of product awareness among Canon dealers and consumers and to expand the market share, develop, implement, and administer sales promotions and incentive programs in order to increase dealer purchasing during typically slower sales periods, obtain and analyze marketing research in order to provide information to management regarding market demands and competitive products, coordinate participation in industry trade shows and participates in product demonstrations, ensuring a positive and effective presentation of Canon products to customers and dealers. The position requires a Bachelors degree in business administration or marketing and a minimum of three years professional experience in a product marketing area. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe PhotoShop is essential. Must be strong in analyzing data and interest in Photography is a plus as you will be exposed to and will have to understand and demonstrate the features of Canon Digital SLR Products. Some Travel is required.   If interested, please apply online at http://track.jobviper.com/ViewJob.asp?id=552232-3-653
