Our core capabilities include electric motors, variable speed drives, motor control, mechanical power transmission, automation, and general electrical. Through partnerships with our suppliers, we provide repair services on electric motors, variable speed drives, and electronics.
 
About the Position:
We are seeking an innovative Marketing Director to develop and implement strong marketing strategies and business plans to grow and expand business through new customers and products, and identify opportunities to enter new markets. We expect the person in this role to become a key member of our management team. This position will be located in Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities include:
· Develop detailed new market entry strategy that supports business objectives.
· Continually monitor competitors’ products and strategies, as well as market and industry trends.
· Seek out, identify, and establish initial contacts with potential clients in new business situations and markets. Develop and deliver marketing, promotional materials and presentations to current and prospective clients.
· Determine most appropriate marketing avenues, channels and materials to use in promotional activities.
· Effectively manage and balance pro-active marketing activities within financial budget.
· Research and recommend new product development opportunities.
· Identify potential acquisition opportunities and work closely with management to implement action plans.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, media, management, sales and other business partners.
· Participate in annual business plans, linking marketing and sales objectives to business plans and financial budget.
· Be part of the management team and help define the future of the company.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a senior level marketing or sales position. We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to to manage budgets and expenses. The follow is also required:

· Experience conducting, analyzing and utilizing market research
· Financial background and ability to manage budgets and expenses
· Strong leadership skills, with desire to motivate and develop skills in other staff members
· Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
· Knowledge in the manufacturing and marketing of commercial and industrial products. Previous experience and knowledge of switchgear, motor control drives, power transformers and control circuits helpful.
· Must have exceptional presentation skills, and oral and written communication skills, with ability to clearly communicate ideas and action plans.
· Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
