Job Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this position is to support the commercial business of Schneider Electric in the USA for strategic and tactical decision-making efforts.The Manager will lead a 3 member team to plan, recommend, design and lead initiatives relating to market research, analytics, competitive intelligence and modeling. The candidate will have responsibility for primary and secondary market research,competitive intelligence, commercial analytics and strategic modeling for both customers and markets to track performance, understand the marketplace, and identify business opportunities at national and sub-national levels.Specific responsibilities inlcude: 1) Evaluate and select appropriate data sources for analysis. 2) Spearhead the identification of data acquisition and tracking needs. Monitor, examine and analyze industry dynamics, competitor activity and key market trends/developments using targeted research methods, tools & systems and apprise management accordingly. 3) Act as a go-to market and analytical expert that can advise, research and provide market and competitor insights to internal teams. 4) Use market knowledge and research expertise to identify patterns within the data, construct insights and articulate actionable recommendations. 5) Assist with team efforts to develop automated reporting and data management systems. Develop and administer report and document management systems to maximize accessibility of secondary, syndicated and primary research information. 6) Provide ad-hoc and recurring secondary data reports and analysis to marketing, sales management and senior management as requested.5-10 years experience in Research, analytics, competitive and business intelligence. Capable of selecting and implementing platforms for execution. Bachelor's degree is required and Masters degree preferred. Previous experience managing people required.
