Panasonic Avionics Corporation has an outstanding opportunity for an HR Manager to lead our HR Services group for the United States. Panasonic Avionics Corporation is a true global organization, with operations on multiple continents. Although this position will primarily focus on supporting the US Domestic Region, the incumbent will also be exposed to significant international elements as opportunities for development. This position will assist in our growth of this newly created HR headquarters in Lake Forest, CA in a region of Orange County listed as the 4th best place to live in the US.Our company culture is dynamic and very fast paced. You?ll have the opportunity to collaborate with our Compensation, OD, Communications, and Recruiting departments to make your mark on shaping HR Services for the Corporation . This is an outstanding opportunity for a person to work with a globally recognized Corporation! This position will be responsible for the guidance of the employee relations staff. The Human Resources Manager plans, coordinates, and processes assignments for major human resource functions including employee relations, performance management, personnel policies, immigration and relocation, LOA, W/C and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for managing specific projects and programs. The Manager will work with line managers and employees to ensure employees have the necessary skills, information, and resources in order to maximize employee potential and meet company objectives. He or she will advise on government regulations, current trends, and practices pertaining to human resources in order to meet schedules, resolve technical problems, and minimize cost and liability to company. This position will be a business partner to key management and contribute as a project leader or contributor on various human resources and business line initiatives. Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to implement change initiatives and communicate on a one-to-one basis and group setting to persuade others to accept or adopt a specific opinion. Ability to perform and advise on planning, assignment, training, direction, and motivation of employees with diverse backgrounds. Ability to perform and advise on employee interviews, hires, and appraisals. Ability to organize department objectives. Proven experience with problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees in a professional and timely manner. Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent. Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources Generalist experience with at least 4 years concentration in Employee Relations.
