Manager, Business Development (Water/Wastewater)

Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for developing business in the Water / Wastewater End User market segment across the Americas (US, Canada, Mexico, South America). Working with key personnel you will analyze market and technology trends. Utilizing internal resources, you will identify development opportunities, determine their financial and operational feasibility and recommend an organizational structure that best assures success for a specific line of business. You will direct activities in preparation of product strategies, roadmaps, strategic plans and annual business plans for growth businesses, acquisitions, alliances, and/or joint ventures. You will matrix across organizations to ensure the application and deployment of both existing and acquired products, processes, technologies and customers to maximize synergies. Develop business cases and detailed business plans of proposed development activities. These plans are strategic and tactical guides for successful implementation and operation of identified opportunities Develops annual budget. Trains and sets sales objectives for various sales assignments. 75% domestic & international travel is expected in year 1.Bachelors Degree, commercial expertise in targeted vertical (Water), successful sales experience in targeting accounts in verticals with automation solutions incl. PLC, HMI, SCADA. Strong commercial and presentation skills, 5 years experience in project engineering, automation and project management.
