Position Summary: This summary describes a key contributor position in the area of high performance cable assemblies, antennas and waveguide assemblies for aerospace and commercial application. The successful candidate identifies, negotiates and manages strategic relationships with customers and business partners. Manages the marketing, product development teams to implement business development. Manages and coordinates new orders related activities. Meets the Company's goals, objectives and budgets for the operation so that a quality product is produced on schedule and in an efficient manner. Effectively plans, directs, and coordinates all operational entities and strategic initiatives for an operation which designs and manufactures highly technical products. Primary responsibilities: • Provide in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning. • Develop working relationships with customers and business partners for all levels of the organization (management,, engineering, operations, quality, etc.). This responsibility requires some level of travel both domestically and internationally. • Plan, coordinate and participate in customer visits related to business development initiatives and major new orders related activates. • Determine win strategy for major opportunities. • Responsible for developing and meeting orders budget as well as maintaining up to date forecast. • Lead responsibility working with field sales team, engineering and operations groups to determine new product initiatives the generate consistent orders growth. • Lead responsibility working with field sales team, engineering and operations groups to promote initiatives that differentiate the product offering and generate increased operating income. • Provide timely communications with management. This includes distribution of market and competitive information, trip and visit reports, budgets and forecasts. • Manage and coordinate new orders related activities including bids and proposals. Interacts with customer, field sales team, engineering and operations to insure a winning bid. • Work closely with the field sales team to develop sales tools and training • Develop and manage customer relationship programs • Work with the marketing and marketing communications team to develop innovative web applications, marketing programs and trade show event campaigns • Develop content for product and company collateral • 3+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager. Knowledge of microwave products and their applications helpful; specifically microwave and millimeter radar, communications and electronic warfare systems. • Knowledge of the Internet and prior experience utilizing the web as a marketing vehicle. Provide leadership and support for making improvements in online catalog as well as interactive online design program. • Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences • Ability to do product demonstrations • Seasoned experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel • US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance will be required.
